The new owners of 230 East Ohio Center recognized the need for a "real estate repositioning" makeover to compete in Chicago's thriving real estate market. They also wanted modifications to the entrance of the elevated lobby to meet accessibility code requirements. CRDA incorporated existing vintage architectural elements into a new dramatic design with elegant contemporary finishes and classic character while accommodating a new security system and incorporating a new wheelchair lift into the design.
