Recognizing the impact of the workplace on an organization’s business the American Massage Therapy Association envisioned a space that would be a “fusion of spa and zen.” Incorporation of natural materials, a subtle palette, elegant curves and angles transports visitors and staff to a calming yet energizing environment that effectively reflects the essence of the professional organization’s philosophy and membership.

The directive to maximize natural light in the open office area resulted in a plan that capitalizes on the magnificent views of downtown Evanston, the park, Lake Michigan and Chicago. Curved walls and the carpet pattern of easy curves and undulating color add to the flow of energy throughout the office area creating an office that is both relaxing and energizing.
